hicago Pneumatic has launched a range of air line accessories for its handheld pneumatic tools. The Air Flex swivel connectors which connect the air
hose to the base of the tool make rigid hoses more flexible and multi-directional. TheIr use helps to improve MRO professionals’ work ergonomics while providing users with a 360° rotational capacity to increase productivity and ease of use in difficult to reach places. The Air Flex swivel connector range is available in
three sizes: 1/4” (with or without a cover), 3/8” and a 1/2” and is capable of withstanding air pressure from 25 cfm up to 74cfm (12 l/s up to 35 l/s). The additional flexibility that the connectors provide ensures that the air hose does not become twisted and remains in the ideal working position, helping to reduce the risk of tendinitis for the user. In addition, the connector reduces wear to hoses as they are not being twisted, thereby providing reliable operation over a long service life.

A range of competitively priced Redashe tool balancers is now available from Thorite. Designed to make the use of hand tools safer and easier, they provide ergonomic efficiency and when mounted above the work bench keep tools tidy and the work surface clear at all times. Buyers can save up to 60% of costs
compared to similar balancers from other manufacturers. CKOSB-1 weighs 0.4Kgs but easily supports a load of 0.5-1.5Kg with a stroke/drop length 0f 1800mm and a cable size of 2mm, making it ideal for drills, screwdrivers and smaller air tools. The mid-range CKOSB-3 weighs 1.6Kg and can support tools up to 3Kg in weight. The stroke/drop length is 1800mm using a 3mm cable. The CKOSB-5 balancer supports tools weighing 3-5 Kg, making the handling of impact wrenches, large grinders or cordless electrical tools simpler, easier and safer.
