olin Shepherd is the new head of Tech Data’s Supplies business unit. Colin has more than 15 years of experience working in specialist supplies roles within
distribution and has come to Tech Data UK with a remit to help resellers grow their sales. Te way to do that, he says, is to ensure that we are meeting all the needs of resellers and enabling them to optimise their potential by offering superior service and stock availability.

Offers galore still open on HP T
here are numerous opportunities to take advantage of the power of the HP brand right now with Tech Data, on PCs, print and supplies
products. You can make use of these offers to boost your sales – and give your customers extra value.
We like all these offers – most of which are available until stocks last or until 30 April 2015. Te Love It or Your Money Back promotion on Officejet is particularly attractive for resellers, as HP will deal with any refunds directly – if you sell the device, you retain the revenue.
Open promotions include:
• Trade Up to HP and claim up to £250 cashback – trade in your old desktop or laptop when you purchase a qualifying HP laptop, desktop or tablet PC and claim up to £250/€300 cashback.
• LaserJet Cashback with Carepack boost – you can get up to £110/€120 cashback with selected LaserJets, plus £5/€6 additional cashback when buying HP Carepack with a qualifying model. Offer is limited to five units per customer.
• Printer Trade In on LaserJet & Scanjet – end users can get up to £620/€750 cash rebates on a new HP LaserJet or Scanjet and qualify in exchange for their returned products regardless of the brand.
• Printer Trade In on Officejet Pro X – customers can buy a new HP Officejet Pro X and qualify for up to £620/€750 rebate for their returned products, again regardless of the brand.
• Officejet Pro X 20% discount – customers that buy a qualifying HP Officejet Pro X printer receive a 20% discount.
Buy one get one half price on HP Colour LaserJet Pro M251n (CF146A) – must be sold in bundles of two units (one pack) – but there’s no limit to number of bundles you can buy as a reseller.
• LaserJet Pro Colour M351a EOL Promotion – save £34 on the HP LaserJet Pro Colour M351a – this offer is available while stocks last or until 31 March 2015.
• Buy and Try LaserJet & Officejet – offer customers a way to buy a HP printer and test it for 30 days with no obligation to buy. If they decide not to keep the printer, they can return the product to HP (NOT the reseller) and receive the purchase price in full.
• Officejet – Love it or your money back – if customers who buy a qualifying HP Officejet Pro X or HP Officejet Enterprise don’t love it they can return the product to HP within 90 days and receive the purchase price back in full. HP pays the refund – resellers are not affected.
Toner Multipack and Dualpack cashback – up to £40/€40 cashback on an Original HP colour multipack (suffix M and skuCF341A) or black dual pack (suffix AD/XD).
