Some things are best kept private

Targus Privacy Screens are the simple, effective way to protect on-screen data:

• No onlookers can view information from either the left or right side of the screen

• Onlookers only see a dark, unclear screen • On-screen data is only viewable when the user is directly in front of the screen

• Employees can work comfortably, safely, and more productively with confidential business, without the risk of compromising private company data or personal information

devices for schools

The Technology Access Programme, formerly referred to as Shape the Future, is a global programme from Microsoft that provides a comprehensive approach for government organisations looking to transform their education system to prepare students for the 21st century. The programme achieves whole system changes – from access (devices and connectivity) to capacity (educator professional development) to outcomes (skills for tomorrow’s workforce).

The Technology Access Programme provides reduced-cost access to devices equipped with discounted versions of Windows 8 Pro or Windows 7 Professional and has the option of buying Microsoft Office Pro 2013 at a discounted price – for students, teachers and admin

staff. Prices are typically reduced by up to £150 under the scheme which is open to state-funded UK schools, academies and further education colleges. Technology Access Programme devices are not available to independent schools or higher education establishments.

While the previous version of the scheme was only available to resellers that met certain criteria, the Technology Access Programme is being driven chiefly through systems vendors, so it is much more open and accessible. Major vendors such as Fujitsu, HP and Lenovo have specific system bundles available under the programme, so you can offer lots of choice to education customers.
