and lighter, and to offer more functionality and higher resolutions. LED cubes, flexible LED and LED sheets were more prevalent, but the real show-stopper product for me – and many reseller partners – was the Realfiction1 holographic solution on the Maverick stand. Tere are immediately obvious applications in so many markets – in hospitality, transport, retail and many other areas.’
Mark also noted that there were many products at ISE that are of considerably lower cost, yet are no less ingenious, and really caught the eye. Te new Vision range of Wireless HDMI and HDMI over Power2 products, which all come retail-packaged as standard, were amongst the most popular. Another soon-to-be-launched product that attracted a lot of attention was the Vision FREESPACE meeting room management solution. Tis is a tablet device that is designed for mounting outside meeting rooms to manage bookings (see

Simon Fagan • UK MANAGING DIRECTOR
AV SIMPLY DONE For the head of Maverick UK, Simon Fagan, the annual trip to Amsterdam was an almost overwhelming experience this year. ‘Te most striking part of ISE for me was the increase in footfall to the show in general. Te Maverick stand was ‘mobbed’ – and not only for the 4pm cocktails. Te leads taken on the stand were significantly up year-on-year.’
Numbers were indeed impressive. Te show organisers have announced that the total of registered attendees for ISE 2015 was 59,350 – the biggest in the show’s history and up 16.4% on last year. ‘Tis demonstrates that the AV market is very buoyant and one that is worth investing time in’, says Simon.

The Realfiction Dreamoc HD3 is a three-sided holographic-like (technically it does not generate actual holograms) display that enables physical products to be displayed with 3D holographic content. You can place the actual product into the Dreamhoc and display 3D images in, on and around that physical item. The effect can be dazzling and there are immediately obvious applications in retail, leisure and many other industries.
BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS
