COLLEGE NEWS AFC BOURNEMOUTH IN SAFE HANDS WITH THE AECC


We are proud to announce that AFC Bournemouth have extended their association with the AECC, for another season. The college has been working with the club, affectionately known as ‘The Cherries’, for several years now assisting the medical and sports science staff in providing treatment and rehabilitation for players of all levels.


Four of our final year interns work alongside physiotherapist Steve Hard, gaining valuable experience with the Sky Bet Championship side. The partnership will also see the college become kit sponsors for experienced goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and dynamic midfielder Shaun MacDonald.


“The partnership with Anglo-European College of Chiropractic is incredibly valuable to the club’s on field success,” Cherries commercial director Rob Mitchell said.


“The students play a key role in assisting the medical staff and helping maintain the fitness of the playing staff, as well as working with those returning from injury.


“The AECC is one of the most renowned institutions in the town and we are looking forward to a long and successful partnership together.”


“It’s a privilege to work with AFC Bournemouth, they are a fantastic club and it’s great to see them performing well in the Championship,” AECC’s Director of Clinic, Neil Osborne added.


“It’s rewarding for us to be able to support the players when they pick up injuries, as well as working with the team continually to improve strength and maintain fitness.


“We are proud to know that we play a part in the success of such a progressive and ambitious team.”
