MSc ADVANCED PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE
MSC APP (CLINICAL SCIENCES)
Attain the skills and attitudes of CPD in clinical practice, utilising experiential learning and reflective practice. This is a generic programme suitable for all healthcare professionals. The main learning environment is the student’s own professional practice and attendance requirements are consequently minimal.
MSC APP (PAEDIATRIC MUSCULOSKELETAL HEALTH)
This programme is open to all healthcare professionals with an interest in health in the paediatric population, epidemiology including risk factors, and public health issues including nutrition and physical activity.
MSC APP (FUNCTIONAL MUSCULOSKELETAL HEALTH)
(subject to validation April 2015)
This is an interdisciplinary, comprehensive programme designed to provide a unique preparation for sports injury, performance management and injury rehabilitation. Students are prepared by didactic and hands on learning opportunities to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The recipient of the MSc (FMH) degree will possess the skills essential for the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal related injuries for the elite athlete or weekend warrior.
MSc MEDICAL ULTRASOUND
This part-time innovative programme offers supervised musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound clinical placements at the AECC. Clinical placements may also be arranged by the student at their workplace. A flexible programme with opportunities to study Upper and Lower Limb MSK Ultrasound, Hip and Groin MSK Ultrasound, Soft Tissue and Negotiated Ultrasound Skills with flexibility to suit your learning needs.
