Responding to our Members’ Needs

The membership de-


partment’s most signifi - cant change this year was switching to doing member- ship cards in-house. The department originally had a third-party company print- ing the membership cards and sending them out to all the members, taking six to eight weeks for members to receive their member- ship card. With the change it now takes less than two weeks to receive a member- ship card in the mail. It was a great accomplishment to be able to print these cards in-house and get them out to the members in a timely manner. It is important that the


store continues to turn over inventory and provide new items to its USA Shooting customers. Moreover, tak- ing in customer feedback on items that customers would like to see in the store worked out very well. The store is now offering items with the Olympic Rings and Team USA-brand logos. A new online store was


launched late October to pro- vide USA Shooting custom- ers with an easier shopping experience. The previous on- line store was outdated. The new store is user friendly and professional and allows customers to easily navigate and make purchases.

membership department in the upcoming year is to con- tinue to grow membership numbers, provide members with more benefi ts, build the Fan Club membership program, and work with the Certifi ed Training Centers, clubs, and outside orga- nizations to build the USA Shooting brand and get USA Shooting members more in- volved. One of the key objectives


for the merchandise depart- ment in the upcoming year is to keep our members in- formed of member benefi ts and programs through social media and the e-newsletter, establish a merchandise program for the Certifi ed Training Centers and clubs, and continue to provide new items in the store for the customers.
