Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape will boast the largest casino in the fleet and a private group dining venue when it launches next year. The 4,200-berth ship, due for
delivery in October 2015, will also have The Waterfront, a promenade with bars and restaurants, and 678 Ocean Place, a collection of dining and entertainment venues first introduced on Norwegian Breakaway. Chief executive Kevin Sheehan said: “The Waterfront and 678 Ocean Place have revolutionised the industry, receiving rave reviews from our guests and travel partners. We knew from the start that Norwegian Escape should also feature this game-changing design. With this new, larger ship, we’ve taken the concept up a notch and added interesting venues and features.” New features include a private dining venue for up to 100 guests. The new Skyline Bar will be in the casino and will have video poker at the bar. Following inaugural events in Southampton and its maiden transatlantic voyage, Norwegian Escape will begin weekly seven-day cruises from Miami to the eastern Caribbean on November 14, 2015.
The ship will visit St Thomas,
Tortola and Nassau.
