Successful athletes at all
levels and in all sports and disciplines know the impor- tance of setting goals and developing a training plan to help them achieve those goals. But many USA Shoot- ing athletes and members

That docu- ment is called a “High Perfor- mance Plan,” or “HPP.” The HPP is a strategic plan for- mulated by USAS coaches, staff, and athletes that out- lines how USA Shooting will reach its goals of producing at least six Olympic medals and one Paralympic medal at the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio. It
