Event report THE PEOPLE AWARDS THE WINNERS!
The UK business travel community once again gathered together in London in May to recognise the cream of the industry at The People Awards 2014. Over 350 people attended this year's
event, which was held at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel in London. After pre-lunch drinks sponsored by Evolvi Rail Systems the fi nalists and winners were unveiled during the course of a lavish lunch. Tony Pilcher, the independent chairman
of The People Award’s judging panel, said at the ceremony: “I am thrilled that the momentum with this event has continued to grow and grow, and that the impact the awards are having on the industry has genuinely exceeded our expectations.” He continued, “Myself and the judges
were delighted with the calibre and quantity of the entries. There is without question a real desire to recognise and reward talented people in our sector.” Following the lunch, the fi nalists, winners and guests enjoyed a drinks celebration courtesy of Avis Budget UK.
