Bob Noll scratchbuilt this 70-inch Super Kaos (above left) from the original plans and put a SuperTigre .55 up front for power. And for good measure Bob also entered his deBolt Live Wire Trainer(above right) finished exactly like the

plane in the original ad. A silk and dope finish adorns John Plasko’s Miss America (below left), with a Cox .049 engine. This Das Ugly Stik(below right) was built from the original kit by Jeff Troy. Uses an Enya .60 and has operating brakes.

Frank Iacobellis scaled his Taurus(above left) to 36-inch span, making it half the original size. In a nod to contemporary trends he installed an MPI motor (above right) and a steerable nose wheel in the model. Another Chris Susicke

entry, the Ultra Sport 40(below left) with a Thunder Tiger .40 for power. Here’s Mike Denest’s Duster(below right), a Bill Northrup design that Mike powers with an AXI 4130-16 and 4S2P 5000 mAh battery. Prop is an APC Electric 16x10.
