New Fuselage Jig from Bob Holman Plans The MK 1V fuselage jig is like the MK III except that you use your building board

as the base. The uprights are available with a slot to fit 1⁄16-inch sides through 5⁄16-inch. The triangles also may be used to help join the fuselage. The jigs are pinned around the top view and then the sides are inserted in the slots. There are four holes in the base for the Pinits which hold the uprights to the building board. You have the option of putting all upper cross pieces in, pulling the fuselage and putting it back in the jigs to add the lower cross pieces. A few temporary cross pieces may be used to hold the fuselage while putting it back in the jig. The jigs are available in 4.5-

inch and 6.5-inch heights. They also may be cut down to whatever height works for you. The laser upright will snap into the base and then is glued in place. Be sure to square the uprights with the base. The number of jigs you will need will depend on the size of the model. Eight to ten slotted should be okay along with a few of the triangles. It is best to use a combination of slotted jigs and triangles. The jigs are priced at $1.00 each. Triangles are available in 3, 51⁄2 and 7 inches and are priced at 10 for $5.00 for the 3 and 51⁄2-inch. The 7-inch are 10 for $7.50.
