England and reports on three strategic deals done!

Performance, reliability and service support prompts a third order from...

RJ Brooks & Son Ltd

Simon Brooks, proprietor of plant hire and groundworking contractors RJ Brooks & Son Ltd of Crediton, Devon, has ordered his third Volvo mini excavator thanks to the performance and reliability of his three year old EC18C model and original Volvo ECR58 and also due to the service and support provided by Plant & Engineering Services.

RJ Brooks & Son Ltd is a family-run business centred at Crediton, Devon undertaking all manner of groundworking contracts from small private jobs to large £1m plus projects. The recent addition of a Volvo ECR28 zero swing mini excavator is the third Volvo machine Mr Brooks has owned, and was chosen thanks to a good experience with his three year old EC18C, which has clocked up 1900 hours, and a previously owned ECR58. “The EC18C has been, and continues to be, a cracking machine but we just needed something that could provide a little extra in terms of reach and capacity yet remain compact for the type of work we are

undertaking and opted to add the ECR28 to the fleet and so far its ticking all of the boxes,” says Simon Brooks. “It’s also re-assuring to know we can rely on Volvo’s local dealer for service and back up and the team at Plant & Engineering Services do just that,” he continued.

RJ Brooks & Son has been completing a wide range of construction activities including civil engineering, road construction and groundworks since the company started in 1993.
