Midlands has purchased a package of Volvo


compact excavators for its growing self-drive hire fleet from Volvo CE’s utility dealer SM Plant Ltd along with a new fourteen tonne EC140D for its training division located opposite the NEC.

Since establishing his company back in 2001, Proprietor and Managing Director John Smith has developed Prestige Hire Ltd into a major independent plant and tool hire business serving the whole of the West Midlands. “We have built the business up providing a sound and reliable service to our clients hiring quality brand products,” says Mr Smith. “The Volvo product in our opinion mirrors the same quality we wish to portray to our customer base and the offer on the table from SM Plant, complete with a competitive finance package and guaranteed residual values, was too good to overlook,” he continues.
