excavator, the Volvo EC27C.
Purchasing his latest Volvo machine is nothing new to Mark Preece who has been running Volvo compact excavators for the last fifteen years or so. “My first introduction was back in 1997 just as Volvo had taken over the old Pel Job brand and with all the Volvo compact excavators I’ve owned and operated since, I’ve only ever had to replace a ram seal, an O ring and a couple of pipes,” he says. “The product has really been first class and I cannot fault it.”

offers greater leg and foot room, making it one of the most spacious in its category. “Volvo has certainly got the cab right on this machine,” says Mark Preece who being 6’2” tall appreciates the spaciousness and the comfort of the operating environment. Optional air conditioning with an included heater is also available, for year-round productivity in hot, humid or cold climates.
