The American Shorthorn Association (ASA) has new offi cers and a new staff member. ASA welcomes Megan
Bottcher-Brehm as the director of communications and marketing. Mike Bennett, Ducor, Ca., has been elected president; Mark Gordon, Middletown, Ill., vice president; and Montie Soules, remains executive secretary/CEO.
The American Angus Association® (AAA) is unify- ing the organization’s communications efforts and
expanding the marketing platform for the nation’s Angus cattlemen. The Association’s public relations depart- ment, producers of Angus TV, and Angus Productions Inc. (API), publisher of Angus Journal® Bulletin®
and Angus Beef , will unify to form a cohesive communications
center. Longtime API President and General Manager Terry Cotton will be named vice president of sales. Cot- ton will also represent Region 12, serving Angus breed- ers in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. Eric Grant, AAA director of public relations since 2009, will serve as API President and General Manager, effective May 1.

The International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) elected 4 new directors to serve 3-year terms
on the IBBA board of directors: Bill Davis, Chimney Rock Cattle Co., Concord, Ark.; Cody Gariss, Lamar, Mo.; Mike Kammerer, Red Bird Meadows, Montgomery County, Texas; and Edward “Eddy” Roberts, Suwannee River Valley in northern Florida.
