Three is the magic number

LENOVO’S YOGA Tablet features three different modes and up to 18 hours of battery life. Unveiled at a launch

event by Lenovo’s newest product engineer, actor Ashton Kutcher, the Yoga is designed to “fit users’ ultra mobile lifestyles”. The device has a

cylindrical edge along one side, which houses a battery boasting 18 hours of life from a single charge. Holding the device by this edge is known as ‘hold mode’ and is designed to make the tablet feel lighter, as most of the device’s weight is in the user’s hand. Place the Yoga on a

surface and you’re in ‘tilt mode’. The rounded part of the device angles the screen

towards the user to make typing more comfortable. Finally, users can put the

device into ‘stand mode’. A flip-out stand can lock the device into a number of landscape angles, designed to create the ideal viewing position when watching films or other media. Specs include 16GB of on-

board storage (which can be doubled to 32GB), a microSD card slot for memory expansion, a 1280x800 display, 5MP rear camera, 1.6MP front camera, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The eight-inch model of

the Yoga Tablet starts at £199.99, with the 10-inch model costing from £249.99.
