Harvey Nichols Manchester turned ten with a star-studded


birthday bash Harvey Nichols Manchester marked its tenth birthday in style as the who’s who of the fashion elite joined the party in celebration of Vogue Fashion’s Night Out on 10th October. Te fashion crowds flocked to the shopping party to catch a glimpse of ten much loved designers and special guests including Sophia Webster, Roksanda Ilincic, Markus Lupfer, Joanna Sykes (Creative Director at Nicole Farhi), Jacky Tsai, Philip Armstrong and Joleon Lescott and Lee Sedman (Lescott Stewart). Made in Chelsea’s Oliver Proudlock and Jamie Laing were greeted by a gaggle of fans at their screen printing station, with Markus Lupfer spray painting his iconic pout print and Jacky Tsai customising each official T-shirt with his renowned skull design. Not one to miss out on the party, respected designers Christopher Kane and Jonathan Saunders also joined the star studded bash, with guests Leanne Brown, Kelly Wright and Kim Crew also in attendance. Te store was transformed with giant balloon installations and birthday party games including ‘spin the lipstick’ and ‘pin the pony on Karl Lagerfeld’ with guests battling to win their share of the beauty prizes on offer.


Hatfields hook up with Merchant Taylors’ Hatfields Land Rover Liverpool recently announced the sponsorship of Merchant Taylors’ Boys’ School 1st and 2nd XV Rugby teams. It is a key sport at the school and has a great history of success with ‘old boys’ such as ex-England internationals Richard Greenwood and Ben Kay. Michaela Riches, Director of Marketing and Development at Merchant Taylors’ Schools said they were pleased and grateful for the support shown by Hatfields Land Rover Liverpool. She added: “As a company the Hatfields name is well respected and we’re delighted to be associated with such a high profile business. Teir support for the 2013-14 season is fantastic and I’m sure the team’s performances will do Hatfields proud.”


Fazenda Rodizio Bar and Grill brings a


taste of Brazil to Exchange Flags Some of the city’s most influential business leaders were invited to an exclusive dinner to celebrate the launch of Fazenda Rodizio Bar and Grill. Te new rodizio restaurant, located in Exchange Flags, is set to bring a taste of Brazil to the heart of the city’s commercial district. As well as enjoying a mouth-watering feast, guests were wowed by Fazenda’s stunning interiors, which have been inspired by some of the finest restaurants in Brazil. Argentinian owner, Robert Melman, who also has a restaurant of the same name in Leeds, is confident Fazenda will be a big hit. He said: “I’m confident that Merseyside’s discerning food lovers will enjoy the real Brazilian dining experience on offer at Fazenda. As well as offering 15 different cuts of meat, our distinguished wine list includes extraordinary wines from the finest growing regions in the world.”
