Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside it hosts 190 weddings a year and has become one of the leading hotel, conference and wedding venues in the North West. “We started this year with the fantastic news that our 1851 Restaurant had been awarded another AA Rosette taking us to three and putting the Castle in the elite 10% of nationwide restaurants that have been recognised for outstanding excellence.” It’s all a far cry from back in June 2011 when

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes Chris and his team worked hard on a restoration and rebuild project spending over £2.3 million to complete and in total over £5 million has been invested in the Castle to make it the stunning and stylish venue it is today. Chris adds: “We have a great team and it is testament to them that we also picked up Hotel of the Year at the coveted Marketing Cheshire Awards and were highly commended at the national Visit England awards.
