MWH TREATMENT and George Leslie continue their hugely successful joint venture, Leslie MWH Joint Venture, being a Construction Delivery Partner (CDP) under LOT 1 (Non-Infrastructure) to help deliver the capital programme for Scottish Water within the current Q&S3B Regulatory Period, running until 2015. Established back in 2000, this fully integrated joint ven- ture brings together sector leading expertise in civil en- gineering along with process, mechanical, electrical, ICA and design to form a one stop De- sign & Construct service. The joint venture has com- pleted in excess of £120M of investment for Scottish Water and amongst other projects has delivered the £20M Loch Ryan Strategic Solution, which will remove continuous sewage dis- charges from the Loch, provide treatment and then discharge into the North Sea. which started on September 1, 2010, was completed in late 2012.
It is also involved in the con- struction of Scottish Water’s Port Rodie pumping station. Both MWH Treatment and George Leslie have been successfully appointed as CDPs
under LOT 3 (Small Works) Framework of Q&S3B, with George Leslie also being appointed as a CDP under LOT 2 (Infrastructure), where it is currently delivering more than £20M of capital investment in the water and sewerage networks.
