David and Jason Marks found the magic number to
win in alternate-shot. The pair defended their title in the president flight,
carding a 36-hole net score of 6-under-par 138, which equaled their score from 2012. With an opening score of even-par 72 on July 6, the Marks went low with a 6-under- par 66 on Sunday to seize first place and their second straight title in the Parent/Child Championship. The lowest tournament score of all the teams came in
the director flight as Dalvinder and Navdeep Sanghera posted a net score of 12-under-par 132 to clinch the title. The duo started the final round tied for third place after an opening round 1-under-par 71, but fired three net eagles and seven net birdies in the final round en route to a net 61. The secretary flight was won by Walt and Travis Chru-
palo, who finished with a net score of 9-under-par 135 to win by a narrow two-stroke victory. The Chrupalos began the final round in a three-way tie for first, but the duo was the only team among the co-leaders to improve in the final round with a 5-under-par 67.
