throughout the world, although the reliability, performance, maintenance and running costs of electro-mechanical warning devices have become an increasing concern. With a maximum output level of 107 dB @ 1m, the Belltronic surpasses the performance and effectiveness of the outdated electro-mechanical device it replaces. A volume control enables the output to be matched to the protected environment. It is continuously rated, operates from 24VDC and 115 or 230VAC,

inrush start-up and operating current consumption is low, it requires no maintenance and is sealed to IP66/IP67, enabling it to be installed in the open or in dusty or wet environments.

The Bifold Group broadens its valve line with a range of medium pressure ball and needle valves, delivering safe, reliable operation to 20,000 psi / 1379 bar. Both valve types are available in 1/4”, 3/8”, 9/16”, 3/4” and 1” tubing sizes, comprising of a coned and threaded connection. The connection method allows for increased flow rates due to the larger bore sizes, common within this range. The valves are constructed from high tensile 316L CW stainless steel (Exotic materials available). The range comprises of needle valves, ball valves, manifold valves, check valves, fittings and adaptors. £50M to help companies save energy E

MSc (UK) Ltd, manufacturer of the UK’s market-leading voltage optimisation solution, Powerstar, has £50M funding available for


administration to public and private sector companies wishing to invest in implementing specific energy saving technologies. The £50M is for technologies that can deliver a return on investment within a 5 year period, as identified in reports prepared by the NHS Sustainable Development Unit and St Georges University. Funds will be provided interest free for up to 5 years. The funds are only available for the top three technologies - Voltage Optimisation, LED lighting and Variable Speed Drives (VSD’s) - as they have been proven to provide the highest energy savings, across a range of different sized sites.


Applications for the funding can only be made through EMSc (UK) Ltd until the 31st of December 2013 and will be subject to status and approval.

ialight has launched its new DuroSite® and SafeSite® LED floodlights to provide a robust, reliable LED floodlighting solution to reduce energy and maintenance costs. The optical design gives improved safety by offering superior colour rendering in the world’s most demanding hazardous and industrial applications. With a compact form fit, the LED floodlights deliver 10,750 lumens at 107W (100 lm/W) to replace traditional HID solutions. The extremely durable LED floodlights come with Dialight’s 10-year full performance warranty and are offered in various optical configurations — 23°, 52°, 93° and 115°— to provide precise beam angle options. The new LED floodlights feature an advanced 20 kV surge protection, a tempered glass lens and powder- coated aluminium housing with a corrosion resistant polyester/epoxy powder-coated finish. The luminaires ensure safe operation in a wide range of volatile environments, boasting a T5 temperature rating for ambient temperatures ranging from -40°C to +65°C.
