with 20 & 40W DALI models H
elvar is set to expand its LED driver family in the fourth quarter of 2013. The new additions are a 20W DALI dimmable driver and two 40W DALI dimmable variations; the DA1 and DA2. Building on its popular 30W LED driver platform and this year’s 70W LED platform, Helvar now offers an increased product range to luminaire manufacturers that are transitioning to LED fittings in applications such as retail, commercial and high-end residential. “As LED light source technology develops we are able to bring more lighting applications under the LED umbrella,” says Peter van der Kolk,

Development Director at Helvar. “With the new 20W and 40W drivers we have opened up more commercial, retail and residential lighting solutions to LED for our OEM client base.” The LL1x20-E-DA is Helvar’s single channel 20W driver for retail and residential luminaires. The driver is DALI compatible and dimmable (1%-100%) with a selectable constant current output of 350mA, 500mA or 70mA. Like all Helvar drivers, the LL1x20-E-DA is built for easy installation, low maintenance and a long life (50,000 hrs).

applications is a revolutionary two-component grommet with cable anchorage, designed to offer many advantages found in a conventional cable gland but at a much-reduced cost. The Click-Fit Grommet is very easy to install saving up to 90% of installation time. A key feature is that it doesn’t require tools to install, and has a pop-out membrane that is a permanent seal until penetrated by a cable or pipe. Also for industrial lighting applications is the Low Profile Snap-In Protection Grommet. These grommets differ from existing products due to their built-in features including a pop-out membrane to ensure a consistent round opening and IP67, plus a sleeve feature that closes tight around the cable, allowing it to be moved like a joystick without compromising the IP classification. These grommets are quick and easy to install and are available in four sizes – M16, M20, M25 and M32 clearance holes. power consumption, low maintenance costs and excellent light output for a variety of applications. The lamps also have a life of up to 50,000 hours. Additions to the Professional MR16 range include a 6W and a dimming 8W version. Both lamps are available in either a warm white or cool white with an option of 24 degree and 36 degree beam. In the Classic section of the Professional Range, Megaman has announced a new improved version of the original 8W in an 8.5W along with an addition of a 10.5W lamp which has the equivalent lumens to its 11W predecessor.
