elcome to the October 2013 issue of A1 Retail Magazine!
It feels like only a month ago I was welcoming everyone into Summer and now we are looking at how retailers are transforming their stores ready for Christmas!
I am writing this fresh back in the office from the AMAZING 100% Design exhibition, which was filled with design inspiration that has given me many ideas moving forward.
This issue, we have an article on the evolution of the Mannequin. It’s an interesting feature and gets us in the mood for the upcoming VM and Display Awards on the 25th of this month. We are sponsoring an award and we have a table at the event, so please do pop by and say hi if you are there too! If that wasn’t enough to fulfil your VM needs, we also have a ‘quick fire’ question round with Andrew Colclough (VM and Display Awards organiser) about the awards and he reveals the host for this year… you will have to turn to page 38 to find out!
Also this month, we are delighted to be attending the POPAI awards and for all the ‘POP’ professionals out there we have a Q&A with Phil Day on page 36.
