The Elite product instructions recommend a minimum wire size of 22 gauge for connecting to the layout. 22-gauge wire is good for up to 2¹/₂ amps, but if you plan on using the full 10 amps, 16-gauge wire is rec- ommended by most electrical stan- dards. The Elite base unit can operate up to 32 handheld cabs, although the base unit can only provide power to a maxi- mum of six cabs.
