This close up of the side of the B end shows the diagonal brac- ing on the end upright and the eyebolts along the car side and on the deck. 15. Fully painted and lettered, the car is ready for a trailer. 16. The bridge plate is built from Ever- green 1″×2″ and 1″×6″ styrene strips glued to a piece of .020″ sheet styrene and then topped with a section of .080″ angle. 17. B&O No. 8781, a P-31a Tofcee flat, is representa- tive of the railroad’s initial pig flat fleet through the 1950’s. It is seen here carrying a 40- foot dry van sporting the trailer paint scheme adopted by the railroad in 1959.
