ANLERS has launched a new IP66 rated, cost effective, Batten Mount Passive infra-red occupancy switch that can deliver significant energy
savings.This easy fit, robust control can be mounted onto the end of lighting battens via the 20mm knock out and benefits from an integrated unit: no separate power supply is required. The switch also includes 1 metre of wire tails to connect to the lighting ballast. DANLERS Batten Mount PIR incorporates a passive infra-red switch to detect movement of a warm body within
the detection zone and includes a photocell to monitor the ambient light level which can be adjusted via the internal lux adjuster. If no more movement is detected within a certain time, then the PIR will switch off the load, so ensuring no unnecessary waste of energy. The time can be set via the internal time lag adjuster. nergy saving experts Megaman UK has added three specialist lamps to its Professional range of lighting specifically designed for decorative light
fittings. The new 3W LED GU9 dimming lamp has been launched to replace Megaman’s existing 4W GU9 lamp. With improved dimensions, the lamp is smaller and neater than the original 4W GU9 enabling it to fit into more compact decorative design luminaires. Megaman’s 2W Pygmy lamp with its E14 base has been produced specifically for domestic appliances. As the name suggests, the miniature lamps are for use in more compact domestic appliances such as fridges, and cooker hoods. The new 5W Crown Silver dimming lamp, has a unique silver plated crown top with the rest of the lamp clear glass.
