When tasked with providing a high performance, allLED lighting solution for Windrush Volkswagen’s showroom in Maidenhead, Ian Pell Architect selected Reggiani as their lighting partner. It was essential that the lighting continued to
enhance the visual appeal of the cars in the showroom and was able to adapt to changing layouts. The design team selected Reggiani LED Bisio 26W adjustable recessed spotlights for use in the showroom area, paired at regular intervals in an almost gridstyle formation to minimise ‘clutter’ at ceiling level.

IQ LED luminaire 4250N and IQ 4255N are two surface mount LED luminaires used for wall mounting or to be attached to the ceiling. LED’s makes it possible to ignite fast, regardless of ambient temperature. Both luminaires have a builtin microwave sensor and when detecting movement light will come on at full brightness and stay on during set time. The luminaire is ideal for use in stairwells, offices and circulation areas. IQ 4255N comes on at 10% low level when the ambient light is below 100 lux. Lux settings control prevents unwanted detection during daytime.

iGuzzini’s track mounted spotlight “Frontlight” has now been upgraded to use a 5000 lumen LED module, which has the same light output as traditional 70watt ceramic metal halide fittings. The 54 watt unit therefore offers a 23% energy saving over traditional luminaires but also perhaps more importantly it will still be producing 80% of its original light output after 50,000 hours, typical in excess of 10 years in a normal retail environment . The fitting comes with three different beam angle options spot, medium and flood and all optics and power outputs are available in both cool and neutral colour temperatures. 35watt Ceramic Metal Halide. Accessories include colour and soft tone filters, barn doors, elliptical refractor lenses and low glare louvers.
