Selfridges turns to BrightSign players for Denim Studio launch.
With a report showing that sales in denim have grown by more than 50% over the past four years, Selfridges decided to launch an expansion plan and now, two years on they are opening the Denim Studio in their flagship location, Oxford Street, London.
Four prime shop windows have been devoted to digital signage, supplied by BrightSign solid state players, featuring a number of different size Samsung screens, also powered by BrightSign XD230 players. BrightSign products are supplied to Freehand by UK distributor Pixels and deliver content created by Freehand. The most prominent window is on the corner of Oxford Street and Orchard Street and has been converted into a photographic studio, which features eight screens driven by BrightSign players. Two windows incorporate a mixture of portrait and landscape screens, with live feed from Instagram which show customers wearing their own favourite demin. The final window is on a looped time‐lapse video. This brand new Denim Studio at Selfridges, Oxford Street, London is the ultimate destination for all denim lovers, in total 26,000 sq. feet, with 60 brands and staffed by 50 denim experts. They are offering thousands of styles and hundreds

of exclusives from £11 to £11,000, from Paige's' diamond‐encrusted skinnies to J Brand's' Little Black Jeans.
