Koolstop controls all of the ingredients in the rubber compound in its rim pads, milling its own rubber in the Koolstop factory. New models that fit the demands of the market are introduced regularly while compounds suitable for different rims are developed (aluminium, carbon, ceramic, etc). 2PURE HAS announced a new brake pad brand in its portfolio for 2013 – Galfer Bike. The distributor is offering Galfer to the mountain bike aftermarket and has high expectations for what it terms ‘the best brake pads on the market’.
