CONFERENCE INFORMATION THE VENUE


Madrid is our destination for 2013, a city steeped in both history and tradition. The third largest city in the EU, the capital of Spain dates back to the days of the Roman Empire, specifically to the second century BC. The city was subsequently occupied by a number of races and faiths, including the Vandals, Visigoths, Muslims and latterly Christians. Today’s visitor will be overwhelmed by the architecture and the relics from times past. A must for art lovers is the Museo del Prada, which includes famous works by many noteworthy Spanish painters; whilst for those keen on shopping, El Rastro will surely beckon. Finally, Spain’s bullfighting heritage is summed up in the Plaza del Toros de las Ventas, which also boasts a museum on the subject.


FEES This year’s full delegate fee is €2050. The fee includes airport transfers (both ways), buyers’ day & workshops on the 18 November, two days’ conference, conference CDROM, conference guide, lunches, coffee breaks, one-to-one meeting airlines/ground handlers (you tell us who are the handlers/airlines you would like to meet, we will arrange the meetings and provide private meeting rooms during the conference as well as 21 November). All networking events are included namely the networking party on the 18 November, an invitation to the Delegate & Ramp Safety Industry Awards Ceremony Party on the 19 November and a city tour for one delegate & partner on the 21 November.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND


The Ground Handling International conferences are specifically designed to bring senior industry executives together to exploit networking opportunities and to discuss major industry issues. If you are part of the international ground handling community, responsible for airline ground handling decision making or a supplier of services or equipment to the ground handling industry, you should attend.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION Hotel accommodation is not included in the delegate fee. Information about special rates at the Hotel Auditorium Madrid will be found in the booking confirmation e-mail.
