Oliver Lackmann has taken over the position of Postholder Flight Operations at airberlin. There has been some restructuring at ASIG. Randy Davies is the new Vice President/General Manager, Ground Handling. Clay Mumford becomes Vice President/General Manager, Into-Plane Fuelling whilst Douglas Hofsass takes up the position of Vice President of Operations Planning. In addition, ASIG has announced that Hank Andrews is now Regional Vice President, West; Joe Gibney takes up the rôle of Regional Vice President, East and that Steve Ciancio is the new Regional Vice President, Latin America. Further, Brian McCormick has been appointed Regional Vice President, NY/NJ and Guam. Finally, David Cooler has taken on the job of Vice President, Operations – Performance & Technical Services, for US operations. Delta Air Lines has promoted Richard Hirst to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, with immediate effect. In his new rôle, Hirst will continue reporting to Delta’s CEO, Richard Anderson.
South African Airways has announced that Monwabisi Kalawe is to be its Chief
Executive Officer designate. The Board of Directors of Alitalia has co- opted Gabriele Del Torchio to the Board of Directors of the company and appointed him Chief Executive Officer. Air France/KLM Chairman and Chief Executive Jean-Cyril Spinetta will hand over the reins of the Franco-Dutch carrier to Air France division head Alexandre de Juniac on July 1. The Board of Directors of SATS has announced that Alexander Charles Hungate will succeed Tan Chuan Lye as President and Chief Executive Officer when the latter retires at the end of this year. Hungate will join SATS on July 16 as Executive Director in order to begin working closely with Lye to prepare for the transition. He has been a Non-Executive Director on the Board since July 2011. Finnair has appointed Peter Gabrielsson
as Vice President, Inflight Customer Service.
Hartmut Mehdorn will take over as the new head of the airport operating company Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg. Swissport International has announced the appointment of Sabine Meinitz as Vice President for Corporate Communications and Marketing.

UPS has announced that Jens Poggensee, a 32-year transportation industry veteran, has been named Vice President of freight forwarding for UPS Europe.
Jetstar Hong Kong has announced the appointment of Edward Lau as the airline’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Holger Hätty stepped down as SWISS’s Chief Commercial Officer at the beginning of this year after more than three years in the position.
IAG Cargo, the single business created following the merger of British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo, has announced the appointment of two new regional Commercial Managers to drive growth in the strategic markets of Latin America and the Middle East & Africa. Rodrigo Casal has been appointed VP LATAM, while in MEA Tony Snell assumes the rôle of Regional Commercial Manager. LUG Aircargo Handling has nominated Nina Hampel as successor to Patrik Tschirch when the latter and Lutz Schmidt became co-Managing Directors of LUG.
