Going lean at Andes


During 2012, Andes Airport Services implemented a Lean Project and invested heavily in equipment. Fernando Díaz, General Manager, Andes Airport Services, takes up the story.

record in terms of passenger and aircraft service. We increased our passenger work by 18%, achieving almost 10m passengers in 2012 in Chile. On the other hand, aircraft handling increased by 10%. In Ecuador, we opened three airports, effectively doubling our Galapagos operations.
