Golf and game in the Kruger
JOCK Safari Lodge in South Africa’s Kruger National Park has launched a three-night ‘Golf & Game’ package which includes three nights at the lodge and 18 holes at both Leopard Creek and Skukuza Golf Club. The deal is valid from October 1 2013 to December 15 2013 and costs ZAR13,025pp (approx. £888) sharing for three nights. ZAR500.00 (£34) from each
booking will be donated to the Wilderness Foundation through the Shamwari Group’s Forever Wild Campaign, which is raising funds for rhino protection. The package at Jock Safari Lodge,
part of the Shamwari Group, includes luxury accommodation, all meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, high tea, game drive snacks), game drives, golf,
transfers, and game drive beverages.

Status Quo recently completing filming of their first-ever feature film there. Three Bollywood films were also shot on the islands. Set for release on July 5, with a July 1
Leicester Square, London, premiere, Status Quo’s film, Bula Quo! is a 90-minute action movie featuring the band as themselves.
Bula Quo! takes its name from the islanders’ traditional Fijian greeting of ‘Bula!’ and also references the title of the band’s best-selling album, ‘Hello!’ Filmed mainly in an around Nadi, the beaches of the Mamanuca Islands and the Highlands of Viti Levu, Bula Quo! is directed by the award-winning Stuart
St. Paul, who has worked on projects ranging from Duran Duran’s seminal ‘Wild Boys’ video to movie franchises such as Aliens, Batman and three James Bond movies.
Singer Francis Rossi said: “Being a member of Status Quo has taken me all over the world. We’ve seen some amazing things and met some incredible people along the way but our Fiji experience was right up there with the best.” The film follows the band’s new 2CD
