DID you know that every arriving and departing passenger to the Cook Islands for the past 20 years has been met by local celebrity, Papa Jake, who entertains them on his ukulele as they clear customs or shop for duty free – yes, you can actually buy duty free on arrival as well as departure here! The Cook Islands are served


by three international airlines, all arriving on the main island of Rarotonga (RAR). A valid passport and onward return ticket, will allow your clients to stay for up to 31 days. The departure tax is now included in the airline ticket. Set your clients on their way with one of the following: Air New Zealand: London Heathrow to Los Angeles with connections to Rarotonga once a week in each direction. Or, connects through Auckland up to 10 times a week in each direction; and Sydney, once a week in each direction. Virgin Australia: Auckland to Rarotonga up to four times a week in each direction. Air Rarotonga/Air Tahiti: Papeette to Rarotonga once a week.
