of Entertainment represents that ‘something for everyone’ image of the USA like no other. Forever synonymous with its theme parks, sun-kissed Orlando is, in fact, a multi-faceted US destination that has an enduring hold over overseas tourists.


For agents, the

varied are the options that their fi rst question might be: ‘where do I start?’ Orlando is the undisputed theme-


park capital of the world: Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom and Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Studios, which serve up a smorgasbord of fantasy gold from the silver-screen, are the headline acts.


So if it is not the world’s most famous mouse and his endless supply of princesses, for your clients, perhaps they would prefer a spell cast by Universal’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Both park giants continue to reinvent themselves this year, with a new Transformers 3D Ride (Universal) and a new Fantasy Land (Disney). Opportunities to get up close
