ANJA NIEMI returns to The Little Black Gallery with Starlets after the success of last year’s show, Do Not Disturb. Starlets continues the idea of self-portraits combined with stage narrative, with Niemi cast as all of the characters. She often multiplies herself to look at inner conflicts and the contrast between our exterior and interior selves, and the images have an eerie, unreal quality, combining tragedy with humour. Anja Niemi: Starlets is at The Little Black Gallery, 13A Park Walk, SW10 0AJ, June 4-29. T: 020 7349 9332.

ZOE SCHOENHERR’S exhibition at The Foundry Gallery explores how the structure of the buildings around us choreograph our movement and function as equipment that we constantly interact with. She uses sculpture to reflect on the symbiotic relationship between bodies and buildings. Zoe Schoenherr – Seamless Series of Equipment is at The Foundry Gallery, 39 Old Church Street, SW3 5BS, June 7-July 18. T: 020 7351 5456.
