THE SLOANE SQUARE and Knightsbridge teams at Hamptons International raised £14,575 for Cancer Research UK when they joined forces to hold a Best of British raffle recently. Hamptons International is Cancer Research UK’s corporate partner this year.
ANNOUSHKA in Cadogan Gardens will be hosting a six-week collaboration with artist Nathalie Hambro from June 4. The exhibition is inspired by hardware, tools and steel, and will see Hambro transform the entire look of the boutique. There will be sculptures, mobiles, a video and slide show, and stainless steel will replace the velvet lining in the jewellery cases. Hambro has also teamed up with creative director Annoushka Ducas to design a limited-edition piece of jewellery, an 18-carat yellow gold bangle overlaid with oxidised silver chainmail. Ducas asked Hambro to join her Art at Annoushska scheme because she is interested in the idea that they both work with metal, but in different ways. ROYAL COURT Theatre artistic director Vicky Featherstone has appointed Carrie Cracknell and John Tiffany as associate directors alongside existing associate Simon Godwin. Cracknell was artistic
director of the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill Gate from 2007-2012 and is also an associate artist at the Young Vic, while Tiffany directed the award-winning Black Watch in 2006 and won a Tony for Broadway hit musical Once, now running at the Phoenix Theatre in the West End.
