E63 AND E85
BETTER BUCKET FORCES Bucket forces for the E63 and E85 have increased for improved productivity when excavating or trenching. Additionally, the compact tail swing E63 has improved lift capacity, arm force and cycle times to increase the machine’s effi ciency. For a powerful digging machine in confi ned areas, the E85 is a minimal tail swing model. The E63 and E85 have a maximum dig depth of 13 feet 6 inches and 15 feet 6 inches, respectively.
Additional features of the new excavators include auto idle and a new deluxe instrument panel. Auto idle minimizes fuel consumption when the excavator is idle for four seconds. This may be helpful when the operator is waiting to load a truck, or when the operator is communicating with other workers. The diesel engine returns to the previous engine speed as soon as the operator moves the joystick controls.
NEW DELUXE INSTRUMENTATION A new multi-language, deluxe color panel resembles instrumentation found on larger earthmoving equipment and gives operators an overview of the machine vitals and its functions. The home screen displays fuel level, coolant temperature, day/time, throttle position and engine speed. Operators can select auxiliary hydraulic fl ow modes and rates from the panel.
For increased security, an integrated password protection system may be used to help prevent theft.
IMPROVED GRADING Available for the fi rst time on Bobcat excavators in these sizes, the blade fl oat feature gives operators the opportunity to smoothly grade, level or backfi ll material. Operators can use just one machine to excavate and fi ll material, and the excavator’s rubber track undercarriage minimizes disruption to existing surfaces and fl oats across dirt for a professional- looking fi nish.
UPTIME PROTECTION New boom cylinder guards provide improved uptime protection for E63 and E85 owners, protecting the boom cylinder when the excavator is digging. Enhanced access to service areas makes performing routine checks and adding fl uids easier.
