Increase efficiency, reduce fatigue and achieve superior accuracy with Bobcat automatic grading control systems. Operators can concentrate on the machine’s travel, rather than the blade position. Because you achieve near-perfect accuracy, there is no need for a crew to continually check grade on the jobsite. That means you need less people to do the job. You also save expensive materials such as concrete. It’s as simple as clicking a button on the loader controls to activate the system and achieve better than ± 0.25-inch accuracies.


Receivers & Transmitters


Bobcat offers three laser transmitters: one single-slope model and two dual-slope models. All models feature two-way radio remote control to allow adjustments from across the jobsite or from within the machine. All laser transmitters also offer temperature compensation, ensuring the laser beam stays accurate as temperatures change throughout the day. A handheld laser receiver is also included.


FLAT PLANE OR SINGLE SLOPE For flatwork and simple grades, a single-slope transmitter delivers excellent results. The laser-guided box blade and graders work equally well in this application. The box blade must travel up/down the slope. The grader can travel in any direction.

DUAL SLOPE The laser-guided grader will provide best results in this application. Both models of dual- slope transmitters work well for anything from flatwork to compound setups.

LASER-GUIDED SYSTEMS


A laser transmitter emits a plane of laser light that mirrors the completed jobsite. Laser-guided systems are available on the box blade as well as the 84, 96 and 108 graders. The box blade utilizes a single laser receiver in the center of the blade and moves the entire blade up and down. The graders utilize two laser receivers, one mounted on each end of the mold- board, and move each side up and down independently. With the laser-light plane as a reference point, the receiver keeps the blade constantly on-grade with automatic adjustments to blade positioning.


Laser transmitters and rod-mounted laser receivers can also quickly determine the amount of material that needs to be added or removed from the site.

BLR2 RECEIVER This laser receiver delivers rapid updates to the control valve on the attachment (up to 20 times per second) for high accuracy grading. Indica- tors and lights on the face of the receiver also provide constant information to the operator. To make grade changes quickly from inside the cab, the “on grade” setting of the receiver can be moved up or down – up to 2-inches with certain machine options – for fast, accurate results.


Deluxe Instrumentation Panel


Used as a control box to operate the system, the deluxe instrumentation panel allows the operator to set the parameters of the grading system while providing real-time information.
