AVM Summit Europe

Call for Papers Abstract submittal deadline – 31st May 2013

If you have an interesting topic to talk about that would be of interest to the aviation maintenance community and wish to share your experience and knowledge, you are encouraged to submit an abstract to speak at the AVM Summit.

The MRO conferences will target developments in MRO, in products, systems, technologies and software and look at how organizations can harness the power of aviation maintenance developments to help users grow revenues, reduce costs and improve regulatory compliance.

Welcome from MARPA

The Modifi cation and Replacement Parts Association is happy to team with Aviation Maintenance Magazine to develop an exciting and informative PMA track for the 2014 AVM Summit Europe. For those not familiar with the organization, MARPA is the non-profi t trade association the represents the PMA community and is the host of the annual MARPA Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. MARPA looks forward to working with AVM to develop an experienced and educational line-up of dynamic speakers from across the industry, relying on its signifi cant involvement and relationships in the aviation and PMA communities.

Leveraging its signifi cant ties throughout the industry, MARPA will recruit a diverse series of speakers from the PMA industry, international regulatory agencies, legal community, and other organizations to discuss a range of topics. Such topics may include: new regulatory developments and their effect on business; improvements and developments in safety; economic conditions and outlooks; business strategies; advances in engineering practices and techniques; and more.

MARPA is excited to support AVM’s efforts to promote PMA. The partnership promotes MARPA’s three primary focus areas: support for airworthiness and safety; education and awareness; and the development of relationships for mutual success. MARPA anticipates that this cooperation will further encourage the world- wide use and acceptance of PMA, while simultaneously improving the aviation community and promoting safety.

Jason Dickstein, MARPA Executive Director

From MRO Software and preventative maintenance to PMA parts and the supply chain, the AVM Summit will continue to address the current issues, topics and regulatory framework facing the aerospace industry.
