I hope by the time you read this we will see some signs of spring arriving! It has been a very difficult winter for many, with the severe weather conditions affecting so many parts of the country. Earlier this month on one of those wet, miserable days, Christine and I traveled up to Silverstone to attend the Troy Means Business Trade Show. There was a chance for attendees to drive round one of the race circuits and the wet weather certainly added to the challenge and excitement for those who were willing to give it a try. The show was an excellent event. We were made very welcome and enjoyed meeting many suppliers and members. Christine and I were honoured to be asked to judge the Best Stand Competition – find out who won and more about the show in the Troy review later in the magazine. This month we have made a few changes to our features list. Whilst out


and about visiting retail outlets it is clear that many have diversified and offer a very wide range of products for both professional builders and DIY, covering every aspect of building, home improvement, renovation and outdoor tasks. We understand the importance of understanding customer’s needs and keeping the trade up to date with the latest products in every area. We will continue to offer features on New Products and Company News as well as specific categories, but we have added in projects for each edition called Are You Ready? We will start with ToolBUSINESS+HIRE Magazine 206, the May edition, with DIY SOS and future magazines will cover such topics as seasonal needs, gardening, renovating, hobbies.
