following statement to clarify their position as an ongoing business and need to quell the ‘UNTRUTHS’ in the market place spoken by the ‘FEW’. Firstly – Dronco would like to give their thanks to their customer base worldwide. From the largest to the smallest the support we
have received has been phenomenal. Dronco Germany are still producing 250,000 pcs of cutting and grinding discs a day 6 days a week.
• The order book is full • Dronco AG is in fact a profitable company as are all Dronco daughter companies including Dronco Abrasives UK Ltd
• Yes, Dronco AG have liquidity issues and are in administration but this has a different meaning under German law and there is no reason why these difficulties cannot be overcome.
• How can such a busy profitable company end up like this? Simple – The investments made have had to be financed and the profits were used paying the interest charges back to the banks.
• What investments? Technical advances in new production innovation, joint venture in new production facilities Dronco America and so on.
• The Outcome? Positive without a doubt – The first objectives are to restructure the company to find a way out of the present financial crisis. It has been no secret during 2012 that Dronco AG has been looking for a strategic partner for which there have been several very interested parties. So if the worst scenario should occur then Dronco AG would be acquired and the business will continue.
