WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE AND what was the inspiration to SHAVE YOUR HAIR OFF ?
In the run up to Jessie J’s charity head shave dare, (for Comic Relief), more and more people were asking me if I would be doing the same thing. I have done a fair amount of Jessie look-a-like work in the last year and after quite some contemplation, I decided, “WOW…. Of course, what better time than now ?” !!
WHAT IS SPECIAL TO YOU ABOUT THE CHARITY YOU ARE RAISING MONEY FOR ?
When I was 11 years old I had a titanium cap put in my heart by Mr Rigby and his amazing team at the Royal Brompton Hospital. I had one of the largest holes in the heart that had ever been capped by key hole surgery at that time (with out open heart surgery). When I was there I witnessed the fantastic work they do in the children’s cardiovascular unit. I am so grateful for what they did for me and have always wanted to do something substantial in return. Te Brompton Fountain is a charity that supports the families of children with severe heart and lung conditions and is a cause very dear to me.
WHERE DID YOU GO FOR THIS MISSION AND TRANSFORMATION?
I’m so grateful to have been supported by Changes Hair salon, Stony Stratford and Milton Keynes. John and Melanie McBreen have been wonderful, letting me use their facilities and their amazing, talented stylist Ryan Crawford. Ryan brilliantly platted my hair and shaved it off to comply with the way that the ‘Little Princess’s wig trust’ asked us to. Te charity makes wigs for children with Leukaemia who have been undergoing chemotherapy. Tis way nothing has been wasted and the hair itself has gone to a really good cause.

delighted with the generosity they’ve shown. I’d like to thank them all for being so kind.
how long do you think you WILL HAVE THE SHAVED HEAD look for ?
I didn’t think that I’d love it as much as I do, because now I’m getting used to it, it feels amazing! I think I’ll play it by ear……I’m looking forward to trying new styles.

I would like to thank Debbie Elderton (owner of Arcana) for her encouragement regarding my own career as well as her generous help with the head shave event. Make-up by Louise Seymour, Louise is just brilliant, I was very lucky to have her do my make-up, supporting my charity publicity

WHAT DOES YOUR CLOSE FAMILY & friends, think about this ?
While I am single, it is a great time to do it as I don’t have anyone to answer to. My family have been right behind me. We have been hitting the local pubs together (with our collection bucket’s of course)! and using my Dad’s petrol !! We’ve met some really great, colourful people in the last two weeks and are
