Sal Calvagna put together this 82-inch kit of an Me-163A Komet(above left) with an A50-10L Turnado motor. The finish is Model Master paint, with homemade decals. At ¹⁄₅-scale, Mario Tavarez’s F-86 Sabre (above right) spans 89 inches


and uses a Jetcat P-180 RX turbine. Mario also put in some time on his F-15E (below left) that uses two Jetcat P-140 RX turbines. The same turbines power Ron Molaro’s big 110-inch A-10 (below right), done in Arctic camouflage.


It took Jack Buckley three years to put together his ¹⁄₃-scale J-3C Reed conversion Cub(above left) from a potpourri of plans and kits. Brian Beer was busy in his workshop turning out his 90-inch Byron Glasair(above right) and his


scratchbuilt 93-inch Challenger II(below left). The Glasairuses a Zenoah G-62, and the Challenger has a 3-W 150. That sleek Sbach 342 (below right) was assembled by Aleksey V. Lomov. Uses a DLE-55 and spans 89 inches.
