Best of Show went to Dave Wigley’s magnificent Bristol Beaufighter (above left). He designed the 138-inch model that took 5 years to complete. A Moki 215 turns the prop on Don Spinosa’s FW-190A (above right). It sports a working

engine cooling fan in the cowl. Chris Susicke took an 82-inch Mitsubishi Raiden ARF (below left) and refinished with great weathering and detail. There are lots of extra working features on Mike McMichon’s Byron P-51 (below right).

As usual, Vic Macaluso did a super job building and finsihing his Yellow Aircraft A6M5 Zero(above left). It was loaded with detail. Michael Gross put some extra effort into the big 100-inch Comp Arf P-51 (above right) with landing light, cycling

gear doors and a full cockpit. Rob Caso does spectacular work on small models like his original design of a ¹⁄₁₅-scale SBD Dauntless (below left), or a remake of an Alpha Models Fw 190A-8 (below right) with superb paint work.
