T-21s. This sale was symbolic of the global growth of our company. There was a consistent Adamson system available on five continents.”

BIGGEST TOUR Jesse Adamson had seen his fair share of big tours during the 2000s but remembers, “Linkin Park was a pretty big deal. The Minutes to Midnight album was a massive success for LP and the tour followed suit. FOH engineer Ken ‘Pooch’ Van Druten is a great engineer and this is obviously a huge part of making any system shine. Rob Zombie, John Legend and Simple Minds also stand out as great sounding tours.”

MILESTONE: FROM AJAX TO PORT PERRY With the rapid growth in the early 2000s, the company engaged in the construction of a state-of-the-art facility

in a new location. Adamson moved from a generic industrial building in Ajax, Ontario to its current global headquarters in Port Perry in 2005. The move allowed Brock Adamson to continue his pursuit to refine the technology in his loudspeakers. “Given the size and scope of our engineering department in Ajax, everything required my attention. The move gave us the space and freedom to test our products and grow our product development team to its current 10 members. Both Benoit (Cabot, product development/ applications specialist) and I now had the ability to demo our designs without the fear of the police showing up at the front door with a noise complaint.” An essential mention must be made

here for Adamson’s European office, established in Hamburg in 2007 by Jochen Sommer. “With so much buzz for Adamson in Europe we needed to expand,” he says.

E15s were used for Linkin Park in Jakarta And now... 2013 Energia E15 cab

BEST PRODUCT: E15 “I’ve worked here at Adamson for a decade and Brock has always pushed his staff to never be satisfied,” says product development/ applications specialist Benoit Cabot, E15. “The Energia line shows how three decades of research and development can come together with a great result.

The E15 is one of the most technologically advanced large-format line arrays on the market; we didn’t cut corners. The architecture of e-capsule is the most advanced aspect of the design, housing not only the mid and high components as well as the waveguides, but also incorporating the most efficient rigging system on the market today.”

BEST SALE “I don’t know that we could name one,” says Jesse Adamson. “All of the E15 partners are doing fantastic work and they are all key to the success of our product globally.” Watch out for the forthcoming E12s... n www.adamsonsystems.com
