Shotoku Broadcast Systems SHOTOKU BROADCAST Systems exhibits a mix of new and established products that target sports, studio, virtual reality, and field production applications at NAB 2013. The company will highlight its latest models, including a VR tracking EFP head, and a new X-Y tracking VR Dolly Crane System for virtual studios. Shotoku’s ergonomically designed SX-300 is a robust state-of-the-art pan & tilt fluid head perfectly suited for field production, OB and studio use. The unit’s high capacity 38kg (83 lbs) payload and wide- balance capability supports a vast variety of cameras, lenses and accessories. The 300 head will accommodate flat base or 150mm ball. Operators can expect top class performance and reliability from the SX300’s VISCAM technology for smooth and adjustable pan & tilt drag with reinforced torque. Shotoku’s SG-900 manual pan & tilt head offers vibration- free speed in an ergonomically designed sturdy package. Ideal for OB and studio production with Teleprompters or box type lenses, the SG900 supports 90kg (198lbs), and features single knob balance adjustment. The unit incorporates the VISCAM ultimate fluid drag system to control smooth pan & tilt movement and REULAUX perfect balance system for maintaining the camera’s centre of gravity. For VR studio applications, Shotoku’s new SX-300VR offers precise tracking and uncompromised operation. The SX-300VR provides high-accuracy, realtime data output with absolutely no loss in manual performance.
