Snell appoints NA president

Broadcast Sports Inc. (BSI), which recently moved its office to a new location in Watford, has hired Lee Norton as Product Sales director. He joins BSI from EADS.


UK digital solutions manufacturer DiGiCo has hired Fernando Delgadoto the role of Sales Application specialist. Joining from Rental Multimedia Systems in Spain, where he spent eight years, Delgado will be working alongside Dan Page to provide technical support to the DiGiCo sales team. Grass Valley has hired Mike Cronk as senior vice president of marketing. He will have overall responsibility for product roadmap and strategy. Cronk is returning to Grass Valley having spent nearly 20 years with the company between 1989 and 2008. Masstech Group has hired Savva


MuellerandMike Palmer. Formerly at Avid, Mueller joins as news evangelist, responsible for driving growth in the news archiving segment. Meanwhile, Palmer starts as director for News Solutions and Strategic Development. Previously he was director of ENPS Design at Associated Press. Trade and systems company for media technologies Qvest Media has recruited Thomas Müller as its new general manager. Müller directly succeeds Stephan Seeländer, who is moving within the company group to Wellen+Nöthen in Germany.


PAUL MARTIN has been appointed as president of Snell North America. In addition to his new role, Martin maintains his position as global managing director for the TV Everywhere division, where he oversees Snell’s product development, sales, delivery, and support functions for playout automation, Channel in a Box, MAM, and second-screen solutions. In other news, the company has opened a new sales office in the Middle East along with the appointment of Dipesh Makwana as technical sales manager. Based in Dubai, Makwana will provide pre-sales support for the entire Snell product range to customers throughout the Middle East region. He will report directly to Naresh Subherwal, president, Asia Pacific and Middle East for Snell.


Ex-CBBC production manager joins Sunset+Vine | APP


SUNSET+VINE | APP, the Oxford-based division of independent sports TV production company Sunset+Vine, has appointed ex-CBBC production manager Sarah Greene to lead its operation. The role will include responsibility for overseeing the management of six edit suites and all post production facilities at the business.
