A new heavy duty guarded footswitch has been launched by CamdenBoss to extend its family of control products. Well suited for use in heavy duty appli- cations, the new industrial die-cast footswitch provides a choice of single- or double-pole snap action or slow action contact blocks with normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contacts. A combined snap/slow action double-pole version is also available. Contact blocks feature a 500V 10A fuse
to protect against short circuits and are rated at 250V/6A, 400V/4A and 500V/1A

The two piece optoelectronic safeguarding device creates a screen of synchronised, modulated infrared sensing beams that extend from end to end of the housing. Featuring a built-in muting function, the new EZ-Screen safety light curtains do not
require a third box, which helps facilitate set-up, reduces the amount of wiring and cuts down on installation costs.
